The 90/180-Day Rule for Canadians

Even with ETIAS, Canadians must follow the 90/180-day rule: you can stay a maximum of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across all 30 Schengen countries combined. Days in France, Germany, and Spain all count toward the same limit.

The window "rolls" — it's always calculated by looking back 180 days from today. This is more restrictive than a simple calendar period. Use our 90/180-day calculator to track your remaining days.

Beware of Scam Sites

The only official ETIAS website is travel-europe.europa.eu. Any site charging more than €20 or with a different domain is unofficial. Learn how to identify scams →
