How to Apply for ETIAS

    Go to travel-europe.europa.eu/etias. The portal is expected to open Summer 2026.

The 90/180-Day Rule for Japanese

Even with ETIAS, Japanese must follow the 90/180-day rule: you can stay a maximum of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period throughout all 30 Schengen countries combined. Days in France, Germany, and Spain all count toward the same limit.
