What you need to apply
A Simple Application
Unlike a Schengen Visa, ETIAS requires minimal documents. There is no need for bank statements, hotel bookings, or employment letters. You will only need a few basic items to complete your application online.
Required Documents
- Valid passport — From an ETIAS-eligible country, meeting passport requirements (see below)
- Email address — Where you will receive your ETIAS confirmation
- Payment method — Credit or debit card for the €20 fee

Information You Will Provide
During the application, you will enter the following details directly into the online form:
Personal Information
- Full name (as shown on passport)
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Nationality/citizenship
- Contact details (email, phone, address)
Passport Details
- Passport number
- Country of issue
- Issue date
- Expiry date
Travel Information
- First EU country you will enter
- Address in Europe (hotel, accommodation, or contact)

What You DO NOT Need
ETIAS is significantly simpler than a Schengen Visa. Unlike the visa application, you will not need to provide:
